NPSA Meetings

The NPSA holds one main meeting a year in November. The NPSA Annual Meeting features presentations of scientific abstracts, panels and symposiums. NPSA also invites a "visiting professor" from a prominent surgical institution, often from another country.  In addition, the meeting features our Historian's lecture and a resident competition. Abstracts are submitted to the American Journal of Surgery.

Caucus Meetings

Each caucus leader holds an annual gathering of surgeons in their area. They discuss topics of interest specific to their regions as well as plan the annual meeting when it is coming to their area. Caucuses also nominate surgeons from their are to NPSA membership. These meetings are held in the summer.
